For anyone that finds this thread in the future - I have tried this laptop with both Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22. I tried googling and it said there might be an option under the mouse settings to turn touchpad on but I can’t find any settings having to do with a touchpad at all. I solved the problem. Occurs mostly in Windows 10/11. Let us work together to sort this out. Same display issues cropped up. Windows 11 HDR certification not found. I usually use a wireless mouse, but I noticed that the trackpad isn't responding whatsoever. If it doesn't I suspect the touchpad cable is faulty, it's just a coincidence it failed once you updated to Windows 11. I updated my Inspiron 5578 to windows 11, and it's working great apart from one thing. System Model 20FVS23400 . I cannot see the drivers on Lenovo website either. I checked for the drivers from official hp device app, and also through device manager, update settings, etc. Hello, as the title says: My Lenovo touchpad stopped working completely.
